Faculty Positions in Neuroscience at ICN

       The Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and its newly established subdivision, the Center for Translational Neuroscience,  at the East China Normal University (ECNU) invites applications for three faculty positions in the areas of molecular, cellular,  or systems neuroscience.  The appointees will be part of an actively expanding institute  (http://www.icn.ecnu.edu.cn)  in a new state-of-the-art research facility at  ECNU campus in Shanghai, China.

       The institute  has  research programs  in  sensory  and  cognitive  neuroscience,  computational bioinformatics,  neuronal plasticity,  network analysis, neuroimaging, computational bioinformatics, brain disorders and aging. We especially encourage applications from candidates with research  interests  that  complement  and  extend  existing  research  in  the  institute.  We are particularly interested in candidates who  use innovative techniques in electrophysiology,  biophysics,  neuroimaging,  behavior  and/or  bioengineering.  Experience with primates is highly desirable.We expect the appointees to conduct vigorous independent research, obtain extramural funds and participate in graduate teaching. We will consider applications for an assistant, associate, or full professor position.

       Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree with 3-5 years of post-doctoral research experience in neuroscience with a strong publication record.  For  a  full  professor  position,  candidates should  have demonstrated  their commitment in independent research.  The East China Normal University offers a startup package.Salary and housing allowance will be commensurate with qualification and experience.Interested applicant should submit your application to xwdong@nbic.ecnu.edu.cn, including
